Application
The Victoria Academy of Swimming was formed on April 1, 2009 and is a partnership between Island Swimming, Swimming Canada and Canadian Sport Centre Pacific. The academy combines high performance with development programs and allows international level coaches and athletes to guide the development of up-and-coming athletes.
The academy is lead by Olympic and World Team Coach, Randy Bennett and acts as a complimentary counterpart to the National Swim Centre in Vancouver. Here at the Victoria Academy of Swimming, you will find swimmers like 2008 Olympic Medallist, Ryan Cochrane, and Olympians Alexa Komarnycky, Hilary Caldwell, Stephanie Horner, and Alec Page training alongside some of Island Swimming’s up and coming, future Olympians.
For Swimming Canada "Carded Athletes" interested in joining the Victoria Academy of Swimming, please contact Coach Randy Bennett.
For eligible athletes, interested in training full-time in the Talent Development Program, please visit the CSC Pacific website for eligibility and application information.
